Amer Ali The ICRC, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, organized the Third essay writing competition in IHL for students. It aimed to promote interest and enhance scholarship in IHL among students, as well as deepen their understanding of this important area of international law – in this edition through the topic of Missing persons and their families. Jihan from #Mosul won the first prize for the undergraduate and Amer Ali Al-Hakim from Kerbala university/college of law the second prize competition and Rusul from #Baghdad won the graduate level competition
