Protect the rights of a refugee child
The College of the Law / University of Karbala discussed the doctoral thesis in public law tagged (Protection of the Rights of the Refugee Child) by student Zainab Yassin Abdul Khader, and on Prof. Dr. Abbas Al-Husseini hall in the college.
The thesis included three chapters
Chapter One / Establishing the protection of the rights of the refugee child in international law.
Chapter Two / Global Framework for the Protection of Refugee Child Rights.
Chapter Three / Regional Framework for the Protection of Refugee Child Rights.
The aim of the thesis was to study the phenomenon of child asylum, and the extent of its effects and danger on the child himself, and on the entire international community.
The thesis discussed the protection of the refugee child, as it is the first to provide care and attention to the refugee child, and they are more in need of that protection than others, and because they are the most vulnerable and easiest group to target than other refugees, especially in armed conflicts.
The researcher concluded that there is no international document on the protection of a refugee child.
