The Private Law Branch in the College of Law / University of Karbala conducted a seminar to discuss a draft master’s thesis submitted by a graduate student (Anwar Mohsen Handal) entitled (the legal regulation of the business alliance: a comparative study).
The importance of the study lies in highlighting the legal organization of the business alliance and its importance in reducing the risks and threats to which commercial enterprises are exposed in the light of the increasing intensity of competition; however, these business alliances may involve fraud and deceptiomethods. And collusion in order to control the market by killing competition and violating the rules of preventing monopoly, which affects adversely affecting the economy as a whole. The importance of research is highlighted by the absence of legal regulation in Iraq for the trade alliance and the lack of legal studies on this subject.
