Donating the library of the former university president to the Faculty of Law
The family of the late Prof. Dr. Hassan Odeh Al-Ghanimi, the former President of the University of Karbala, donated his private library to the College of Law / University of Karbala. The library included the considered legal books in addition to the letters and theses that he supervised throughout his rich scientific life. For its part, the College of Law, under the direction of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Abdul-Amir Taha created a special section in the college library dedicated to the library of the late professor and made a special seal in his name, may God have mercy on him. A committee headed by Prof. Dr. Ali Hamza Asal was formed to receive and manage the books. It is worth mentioning that the late was a specialist in criminal law and held several positions, including the Deanship of the College of the Law / University of Babylon, the presidency of Karbala University, and the presidency of Al-Muthanna University.
