The Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law at the University of Karbala, organized a course on the principles of human rights in volunteer work, presented by Professor Hanin Al-Rubaie and Professor Taghreed Hakim.
The course, which targeted faculty members and employees of the college, aimed to shed light on the close relationship between human rights and volunteer work, within the framework of enhancing awareness of the importance of this relationship.
The course included a lecture on defining human rights and their importance in building societies, the characteristics and principles of human rights that form the basis for protecting human dignity, in addition to the impact of human rights on volunteer work and its role in promoting community development.
