Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Ardawi, a lecturer at the College of Law at the University of Karbala, participated in the Najaf-Erbil Forum, which was hosted by the Najaf Governorate with a wide presence of political elites from various governorates and the Kurdistan Region.

The forum, which was organized by the Rudaw Center for Studies in cooperation with the Al-Nabaa Forum for Dialogue, witnessed frank dialogues about the history of Kurdish-Shiite relations, points of convergence and disagreement, current and future challenges and risks and ways to overcome them, the necessity of correcting the mistakes of the political level in building the state and society, the importance of rallying around the comprehensive national identity, protecting the country’s supreme interests, and alleviating the fears of all Iraqi components by upholding the law, constitutional institutions, and the bond of citizenship.

Dr. Al-Ardawi said that all attendees agreed that the road is not easy and involves many difficulties and problems, but that there is no way for Iraqis but to walk it for a secure and stable future that meets the just aspirations and good expectations of all.
