The Legal Clinic Unit at the College of Law – University of Karbala conducted a training visit for second-year students to the Indian Criminal Court in Karbala, as part of its training program to enhance the practical aspect of students and enrich their knowledge of legal procedures within the courts.
The visit included informing the students about the course of judicial pleadings and work mechanisms within the court, as they were present in the courtrooms and watched how evidence and pleadings are presented by lawyers and parties to the lawsuits before the judges, in addition to providing practical explanations about the legal procedures followed in various cases and the role of the Public Prosecution, Defense and Judges in achieving justice.
The visit aimed to develop students’ skills and link theoretical knowledge to practical application, and contribute to preparing them to be distinguished legal professionals and lawyers in the future.
