The College of Law at the University of Karbala organized a workshop on promoting legal awareness in sustainable development, presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Samir.
The workshop aimed to spread legal awareness in all areas of sustainable development, and to highlight the role of law in achieving the goals associated with it. The workshop discussed finding innovative legal mechanisms that contribute to developing the concept of sustainable development, and urged the legislator to include legal legislation in a way that serves various sectors that promote sustainable development.
This workshop comes within the college’s efforts to enhance the role of law in addressing development challenges and contributing to achieving comprehensive development in line with sustainable development plans and goals.
