The College of Law at the University of Karbala concluded a course on methods of appealing judicial rulings and decisions for third-year students, presented by the professor of private international law, Assistant Professor Dr. Thamer Dawood Al-Shafei.
The three-day course aimed to develop students’ awareness of how to appeal judicial rulings and formulate appeal regulations, and develop their skills in dealing with legal materials, to benefit from them in their practical lives.
The course included a lecture on the first day on objecting to a judgment in absentia and appeal, and on the second day a lecture on retrial and cassation, and on its last day it included a lecture on correcting the cassation decision and third-party objection.
