The private law of the College of Law / University of Karbala conducted a seminar to discuss a draft master’s thesis submitted by a graduate student (Aseel Hadi Jassim) entitled (taking into account laxity in civil law: a comparative study).
The importance of choosing this subject comes because of the large number of daily financial transactions, especially the netting contract, and the fact that it helps to stabilize financial transactions and ensure the preservation of the rights of the contracting parties. Knowing the provisions of laxity shows the contractor his money and what he owes, so this is a reason for him to be committed. Also, knowing the provisions of laxity leads to reducing the occurrence of disputes between the contracting parties and rejecting Disputes that may result from people’s ignorance of the provisions of the law related to inaction.
