The Private Branch of the College of Law / University of Karbala conducted a seminar to discuss a draft master’s thesis submitted by a graduate student (Muhammad Jawad Ahmed) entitled (The role of the principles of Islamic law in matters of personal status: a comparative study).
The problem of the study lies in the analysis and knowledge of the role of Islamic law in the formulation of legal texts for personal status issues. The Scientific Committee in Private Law discussed the research project and expressed its directives to the student. It also made some substantive modifications in the methodology of scientific research and others in the research plan and the origin of the research topic. It also discussed the fundamental issue in the research. Detectives that have been allocated to it in a sound systematic manner.
