The private branch of the College of Law / University of Karbala conducted a seminar to discuss a master’s thesis project submitted by a graduate student (Abdul Amir Kazem Hussein) entitled (the legal system for the independence of the board of directors of a joint stock company under the rules of governance: a comparative study).
The problem of studying the legal system for the independence of the board of directors of the joint-stock company in light of the rules of governance, lies in the lack of the role of the legislator in most legislations to provide accurate legislative treatments about the formation of an independent board of directors that achieve what is included in the rules of governance.
