In the presence of the Administrative Assistant to the President of Karbala University, a. Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri and the Head of the Commission, Karbala Branch, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, the College of Law hosts the University of Karbala and on the Sanhouri Hall, and for the second day, the training course for polling station supervisors held by the Independent High Electoral Commission for the elections, the Holy Karbala branch.
The Board of Commissioners decided that the polling center supervisor should be a university professor affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and would supervise the technical and administrative work of the polling station.
The course aims to explain the tasks of the polling supervisor, who is responsible for announcing the opening of the polling station and stations, starting voting, closing the center, and ending voting according to the times specified by the Commission, as well as following up the design of polling stations and stations, following up on the movement of voters, in addition to following up on the progress of the electoral process and attending the manual counting process with a central coordinator. Voting inside the polling station in which the counting and sorting process takes place. Note that the administrative link of the polling station supervisors (university professors) is with the director of the registration center.
