The Dean of the College of Law chairs a committee to discuss a master’s thesis at the University of Mosul
The Dean of the College of Law at the University of Karbala, Prof. Diaa Abdullah Aboud, chaired a committee to discuss a master’s thesis for the student “Mohammed Ghaleb Hamdoun” on the penal protection of public real estate/a comparative study, at the College of Law, University of Mosul, on Monday, August 1, 2022
The thesis dealt with the legal texts that provided criminal protection for public real estate ownership, whether in the amended Iraqi Penal Code, which is the general Sharia for criminalization, or in other penal legislation, but the practical reality showed the inability of these texts to effectively protect this real estate from abuse, prejudice, and infringement. A statement that the concept of a real estate differs in criminal law from its concept in civil law. Real estate in civil law may be real estate by nature or real estate by allocation. Criminal law does not know this differentiation, but rather expanded the concept of movable at the expense of the real estate
