Prof. Dr. Ghassan Obaid Muhammad participated in the membership of the discussion committee for the master’s thesis tagged “legislative competence of crowdfunding – a comparative study -” at the Faculty of Law, University of Dhi Qar, for the student Anwar Najm Obaid Abu Al-Hail. The thesis was characterized by the modernity and originality of the topic, as its idea began through the Internet, as the researcher assumed the possibility of using the Internet to be a platform for financial financing for both economic and humanitarian purposes. Within the framework of private international law, and what is the legislative competence in the case under study, especially since the parties to the relationship belong to different and separated legal systems – which leads to the creation of legal relations of a special international nature – the researcher also focused on the American law, which enacted a law called the crowdfunding law and from Arab laws the law The Lebanese researcher tried to adapt these ideas and benefit from them. The message was accepted with distinction.
