The International Committee of the Red Cross / Regional Office of International Humanitarian Law in Cairo presented a certificate of winning third place in the third research writing competition in Arabic on the topic (the seventieth anniversary of the Geneva Conventions of 1949) to Prof. Dr. Salah Jabir Saddam, Professor of International Law at the Faculty of Law / University of Karbala, and won The research is based on 120 participant papers and from ten Arab countries,
