A teacher at the College of Law participates in the Conference on Recent Trends in #Women’s Empowerment
The teaching staff at the College of Law, University of Karbala (Assistant Teacher Jumana Jassem Al-Asadi) participated in the Conference on Modern Trends in Empowering Women held under the auspices of the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Al-Araqah Foundation, and the Arab Women’s Forum, with the research entitled (The Possibility of Empowering Women in Qur’anic Concepts and Iraqi Legislation). The conference was held in the Public Relations Hall of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the capital, Baghdad, on Wednesday 27/7/2022, in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Adnan Darjal, and a number of senior researchers from Iraqi universities. And the Iraqi legislator’s call in some places and society to the necessity of empowering her in a legitimate way that conforms to the context of Islamic law and a legislative form that serves and achieves the aspirations and ambitions of Iraqi women. The research won the appreciation of the attendees and the praise of researchers.
